I am fully certified in Elementary Education grades K-5, and am currently an elementary school librarian. Prior to making the move to the library, I was a fourth grade classroom teacher for ten years. My goal as a librarian/media specialist is to create an environment where students and staff can trust in me and be confident that I will provide adequate, timely, resources to fulfill their information needs. By providing guidance and instruction in literacy, information, research, and technology, I am confident that my students will achieve their full potential as information literate individuals and become successful, 21st century, life-long learners.o |
