Standard 1: Teaching for Learning
Candidates
are effective teachers who demonstrate knowledge of learners and learning and who model and promote collaborative
planning, instruction in multiple literacies, and inquiry-based learning, enabling members of the
learning community to become effective users and creators of ideas and information.
Candidates design and implement instruction that engages students' interests and develops

Assessment - This document reflects my ability to assess and document student learning and to use that data for improved curriculum development.

Collaborative Planning/Teaching Chart - This chart was created collaboratively with classmate A. Simmons in LSC 5501, Instructional Collaboration. The chart is used for planning and teaching an information literacy lesson designed around curriculum content.

and Learning Standards
Podcast Lesson Plan - This artifact was selected because it is a collaborative lesson that integrates the use of Project Based Learning skills, which explore real-world problems and challenges important for today's 21st century learners, and Podcasting technology.
